Aga Kunska joined the CWC Affiliate team in 2010 and has served countless CWC grant clients ever since. She brings to her work more than 25 years’ experience crafting compelling narratives that represent the voice of the nonprofits she works with. Aga’s passion is in serving human services nonprofits that address core issues stemming from systemic discrimination, such as access to education, housing, and health services. 

Prior to launching a grantsmanship career, Aga served for more than 15 years as an award-nominated theatrical designer in Chicago and New York. She is a graduate of the renowned Yale School of Drama (Master of Fine Arts, 2003), where a study of the written word and its impact on an audience is an integral part of a rigorous 3-year training.  Aga is an outspoken LGBTQIA+ ally and DEI advocate, a terrible but devoted surfer, and ardent animal lover.
