Based in Los Angeles, Stasia Widerynski is a science communication and grants professional with nearly a decade of experience helping mission-driven organizations translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. Her past work bridges the fields of public health, sustainability, and public policy, supporting clients across government, higher education, and the nonprofit sector. She joined the CWC Affiliate Team in 2025. Previously, Stasia led communications and engagement initiatives for the National Institutes of Health’s Climate Change and Health Initiative and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, served with the White House Council on Environmental Quality under the Biden Administration, and supported equity-focused clean mobility programs for the California Air Resources Board.

Stasia holds a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Environmental Science from Tulane University. She is passionate about helping organizations secure funding and strengthen impact through thoughtful strategy, storytelling, and stakeholder collaboration. Outside of work, Stasia enjoys gardening, exploring local trails with her husband and dog, and discovering new farmers’ markets around Southern California in order to test out new recipes.
